Concept
The inspiration for this logo came from the vibrant colors and layered textures of plastic packaging—materials that are visually striking yet symbolize one of today’s most urgent environmental challenges. By drawing from these forms, I wanted the design to reflect both the complexity of plastic pollution and the invisible threat of microplastics that now permeate our ecosystems.
The circular shape of the logo represents the principles of the circular economy and sustainability. It is a reminder that materials should not simply reach an end of life, but instead be part of a continuous loop of reuse, recovery, and regeneration. The movement within the circle echoes the idea of transformation—turning a problem into a solution through responsible design and innovation.
Visual Touchpoints
In addition to the logo, I developed a cohesive visual identity for the conference, including the Save the Date announcement, posters, roll-up banners, and supporting communication materials. Each piece follows the same conceptual direction, combining bold colors with clean, modern design to strengthen the message of environmental awareness and sustainable action.
